The 45' degree back extension does the job of developing the 3 amigos; your Hamstrings, Glutes and Lower Back simultaneous improving your posterior strength. -



Another advantage to this exercise is to vary your foot position which maximises the recruitment of all the hamstrings motor unit pool (semi-membranous, semitendinosus, long & short head of the biceps femoris). -

Be careful not to hyperextend your spine.
